ALLIANCE GOUVERNANCE AFRIQUE

The Alliance for Rebuilding Governance in Africa connects African actors and non-African engaged in action and reflection, anxious to promote both at the level of African citizens and the world, dialogue on governance in Africa. It is since 2003 the extension of the network “Dialogues on Governance in Africa: Decentralization and Regional Integration” network that was born in 1999 from an initiative of some Africans, mostly having held senior positions in their country and found from the inside, how the process of transformation of the world and of African societies escaped the Africans themselves due to inadequate governance arrangements, imported or imposed from outside, unable to meet the needs of African and strengthening the inability of Africa to meet the challenges of globalization.

It is fixed and the following objectives:

Inter build a public space for dialogue and reflection on governance;
Develop and discussion of proposed changes to the governance in Africa;
Mobilizing state and non-state actors in initiatives for effective rebuilding governance in Africa;
Participate in discussions on governance issues in Africa and the world.
